Plenty to report this month
despite the lack of aircraft these days!
12Sqn will deploy during the month
on Op Herrick duties to take over from the Harriers currently based out there,
while the deployment to Al Udeid (Op Telic) will finish. Details should end up
in the book!
The book should be available again
this year at Waddington and hopefully I will have sorted out the font problems
that plagued me last year. There will be a minor presentation change this year
and I will leave out a couple of things, A330 and Super Lynx but one thing that
won’t change is the cost, that will remain at £2.00 or £2.50 by post with
cheques payable to G.Gaff and sent to the address above. Lastly unless I sell
out you should be able to obtain a copy at Yeovilton as well if you are not
planning to go to Waddington.
The only other thing is that due
to the group’s commitments at Waddington and Yeovilton, also the book
preparation next month’s newsletter will not be available until the middle of
July but will include the usual full rundown from both shows.
So get out and support the shows.

noted above with QinetiQ may actually belong to 671Sqn and therefore may only
be on loan, it was noted at Boscombe Down on 13/5 and
given the close proximity of the two bases would give some credence to this.
